Family photography doesn’t need to be stiff, stressful, or performative. I believe the best photos happen when everyone can just be, kids included.
My photos tell stories. But not scary ghost stories. I mean, like, the stories that dreams are made of. Like when the good guys triumph, and the bad guys get caught, and the slightly-nerdy guy captures the heart of the beautiful girl who was completely unaware of said slightly-nerdy guy's feelings for her until the end of the story. These are the stories I tell.
My approach is calm, gentle, and child-led, creating space for connection, movement, and real moments to unfold naturally. The result? Images that look and feel like your family, exactly as you are right now.

Hey, I'm Sally
I’m a Sunshine Coast family photographer who believes the best photos happen when everyone can just relax and be themselves, kids included. I’m all about calm, connection, and creating space for real moments to unfold, rather than trying to force anything to look “perfect”.
I’m a mum myself, which means I know how quickly these seasons move, and how rarely we actually end up in the photos. That’s a big part of why I do this work, to help families slow down for a moment and capture what life really looks like right now.
My sessions are gently guided and child-led, with plenty of room for movement, cuddles, and the occasional bit of chaos. No awkward posing, no pressure to perform, just your family, exactly as you are.
